With heart for people

Hördesign in Zug is a family-owned business founded by hearing acoustics master Nico Tomasini and his wife. Mr. Tomasini chose the profession of hearing acoustician because he was looking for a job that combines medicine, technology, and communication with people. This turned out to be no easy task, but the profession as a hearing acoustician exactly encompasses these three areas. Listening, providing clear explanations, and meeting people's needs are precisely Mr. Tomasini's calling. Since 2013, Mr. Tomasini has been well-known in the hearing aid industry. He has trained hearing acousticians and conducted training sessions on the latest hearing aid technologies and adjustment options throughout Switzerland. A constant companion was also his extensive knowledge about tinnitus. The expert's profound expertise is highly sought after in the industry.

The roots and the beginning

Some years ago, Mr. Tomasini decided to open his own specialty store with his wife in the heart of Zug. "It's amazing how quickly our business for hearing aids, ear protection, and tinnitus therapy has gained popularity."

Mr. Tomasini originally comes from Tyrol and grew up in a small village near Innsbruck. It's remarkable how well Mr. Tomasini has built an international network over time. "This is the only way to keep up with the rapid technological advancements," says the expert. In the small, picturesque town of Zug, Mr. Tomasini has found his new home, and the family business continues to grow, so that everyone can enjoy a bit more quality of life.

My passion has always been to help older people. Nursing was just the right fit for me. Over time, you seek new challenges, and a day spent shadowing in hearing acoustics showed me that I could pursue my passion in a different profession as well. Born in Switzerland and raised in Steinhausen, my connection to my hometown is still strong today. The roots of my family are in Italy (Calabria). What sets me apart is my immense patience with people. I feel good when the people I help feel good.

The best part of my job is adjusting and setting up hearing aids. The possibilities are enormous, and the fascinating thing is that it's different for every person.
